Chi'llywood Public Policy

Copyright And DMCA Policy

How Chi'llywood handles copyright complaints, takedowns, counter-notices, and repeat infringement.

Last updated: May 13, 2026

Chi'llywood respects copyright owners and creators. Users must only upload, stream, post, message, link, or share content they own or have permission to use.

1. No Stolen Content

Do not upload or stream unauthorized movies, shows, music, music videos, clips, sports/event broadcasts, livestreams, creator uploads, images, logos, files, or other protected works.

If you believe content on Chi'llywood infringes your copyright, send a copyright complaint to Chi'llywood Support at support@chillywoodstream.com with enough information for review.

Chi'llywood's official designated DMCA agent setup is pending. This page does not claim DMCA safe-harbor completion or U.S. Copyright Office designated-agent registration.

3. Required Complaint Information

A copyright complaint should include:

  • the copyright owner's name or the name of the authorized agent;
  • contact information for the sender;
  • identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed;
  • identification and location of the allegedly infringing Chi'llywood content;
  • a statement that the sender has a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, the owner's agent, or the law;
  • a statement under penalty of perjury that the information is accurate and the sender is authorized to act for the copyright owner;
  • a physical or electronic signature.

Incomplete notices may delay review.

4. Takedown Handling

Chi'llywood may remove or disable access to content where appropriate, notify the uploader where appropriate, log the claim, preserve evidence, apply a copyright strike where valid, and review related account activity.

Chi'llywood may decline, request more information, or take limited action where a report is incomplete, abusive, unclear, not tied to copyright, or appears false.

5. Counter-Notice

If your content was removed because of a copyright complaint and you believe the removal was a mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice.

A counter-notice should include:

  • your name and contact information;
  • identification of the removed or disabled material and where it appeared before removal;
  • a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed or disabled because of mistake or misidentification;
  • consent to jurisdiction and service of process language as required by law;
  • your physical or electronic signature.

After a proper counter-notice, the rightsholder may need to file legal action to keep the content down. Timing and reinstatement rules must be confirmed by legal counsel.

6. Repeat Infringer Policy

Chi'llywood may terminate or restrict repeat infringers.

Strike approach:

  • valid copyright removals may count as strikes;
  • successful counter-notices, retractions, or reinstatements may remove or reduce a strike;
  • severe or willful infringement may lead to immediate termination;
  • multiple valid notices may terminate upload privileges, creator privileges, monetization access, or the account.

7. Misuse

False, abusive, retaliatory, or misleading copyright reports or counter-notices may lead to account action and legal consequences where applicable.

This policy is not legal advice. Copyright owners and uploaders should consult their own attorney about legal rights, notices, counter-notices, and litigation risk.
